Kevin Hunt Founder & Principal
Kevin Hunt has been an entrepreneur and executive for nearly 40 years, building and scaling businesses from the ground up. Prior to Felsted, he founded and served as CEO of ValvTechnologies after identifying a need in the market for a zero-leakage valve capable of performing under severe service conditions.
During this time, Kevin also founded Spartak Products, a manufacturer of valve components that was folded into ValvTechnologies, and acquired Celtex Industries, a distributor of products and services for the power and process industries, and Moore Controls, an engineering design and plant systems integrator, as bolt-on additions to the business. After 34 years building the company, he ultimately sold ValvTechnologies to Severn Group in 2021.
While running ValvTechnologies, Kevin also identified an opportunity to invest in PRD Technologies, an industrial valve distribution and repair company, which he acquired in 2012 and maintained as a separate, standalone entity until it was sold to Ferguson in 2026. Earlier in his career, Kevin founded and operated Hunt Engineering, a consulting firm that assisted clients with product design and process efficiency.
Kevin is active in his community, having served on the boards of Camp Eagle and Camp Glorietta, both summer camps for youth, and Avondale House, a care facility for individuals with autism. He has also turned his passion for wine into a business, serving as CEO of Power and Process Controls, which owns and imports Pedemonte wine from Mendoza, Argentina.
Kevin received a B.A. from the Open University, with specialties in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Pure Mathematics.
Michael Hunt Principal
Michael Hunt has been an entrepreneur, investor, and executive for more than 30 years, with expertise in industrial operations, engineering, and strategic growth. Prior to Felsted, he owned and operated PRD Technologies, an industrial valve distribution and repair company, for 14 years. Under his leadership, PRD Technologies expanded rapidly through a combination of organic and inorganic growth until it was sold to Ferguson in 2026.
Outside of Felsted, Michael is also the Founder and CEO of Vestra Valve, a global supplier of severe valves manufactured in the United States, which specializes in engineered solutions for demanding industrial environments. In addition, Michael operates a separate investment vehicle, KOLH Capital, where he serves as Owner and CEO. KOLH Capital holds a diverse portfolio of venture capital and commercial real estate investments.
Michael is active in his community and, together with his wife, Autumn, is committed to giving back, including charitable work with Hope International, Harrison’s Hero’s, Joy School, and Houston Ballet. They have three daughters.
Michael received a B.B.A. and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Christian University.
Paul Hunt Principal
Paul Hunt has been a chartered certified accountant and executive for more than 30 years, with expertise in financial management, operations, and strategic growth across consumer goods and industrial businesses. Prior to Felsted, he co-owned and helped operate PRD Technologies, an industrial valve distribution and repair company, where he helped drive the company's rapid growth until it was sold to Ferguson in 2026.
Outside of Felsted, Paul owns and advises multiple businesses in the United Kingdom, where he is based.
Paul is active in his community and, together with his wife, Belinda, supports charities focused on epilepsy and sports. They have two sons.
Paul received a B.Sc. in Politics and History from the University of Bradford and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
